Spargelsuppe will always be my number 1! Asparagus is my favorite vegetable and who doesn't love cream soup? The fact of the matter is that some are better than others but I've never had a bad one!

This ox steak made it to number 2 on the list because of its awesome, bold flavors and textures but also because it was unique and different. It shocked me how much I enjoyed it! Also, who ever thought boquerones would be so tasty?

If you go to a 2 Michelin Star restaurant, their food better be among your top 5 best foods list. At number 3 a perfectly seared scallop and beautiful baby carrots wins the prize. Sometimes simplicity and elegance, when perfectly executed, cannot be beat!
For number 4 I once again had to select from the many amazing courses at ABaC. The unique molecular gastronomical techniques used to produce liquid parmesan gnocchi made this dish transcend traditional textural boundaries all the while dancing on your taste buds!

Lastly, in 5th position, the quark balls at Neuschwanstein round out the pack. Now I'm not ordinarily one for sweets and it was hard to edge out a savory dish, but, this simple fact is you cannot find a quark ball anywhere else that matches these melt in your mouth delights!

Honorable Mentions
Pretty much everything else we ate, it was hard enough picking 5!
