by Katherine ![]() Key Words Bakery, Chain Would We Come Back? No, way overpriced. I needed food (yeah, I say that a lot) after La Padrera. We had quickly tried a mojito sorbet at the cafe associated with La Pedrera, hoping it would be tasty like the one from Malaga. But it was awful and hella-expensive! So after our tour of the first Gaudi house, we stopped in the next bakery we saw down the street. I got a glazed pastry, which was pretty good, but it cost like 4€. Turns out, this place is a chain throughout Barcelona as we would later pass one near La Sagrada Familia. This is the kind of place you stop at when you have to have food right that instant. Otherwise, go somewhere less toursity and find something cheaper.

by Katherine ![]() Key Words Chain, Large Variety Would We Come Back? Sure, because they are conveniently located when you need to grab a quick, yet tasty bite. We got an early start heading to Munich so we needed to grab a bite at the Nuremburg train station before we transferred to the train to Munich. I just needed some sort of baked good to please my craving for sweets.
We stopped at Le Crobag, a chain throughout Germany that serves baked goods, breads, and sandwiches. Though it's a chain, I still thought it was pretty good, kinda like Panera quality. |
