Large Variety, Good Flavors
Would We Come Back?
For sure, the fideua was awesome and so was the octopus. It would be tempting to try something else but what we got was so good!

It would be tempting to try something else but what we got was so good! While I was in Spain, I knew I needed to try fideua! It's essentially the noodle version of paella. I love paella and I love noodles so it sounded awesome. I had heard about Puda Can Manel on a TV show about Spanish cuisine and further read that it's one of the few restaurants on the Barcelona waterfront that locals actually like to go to. If the locals like it, it's a place I want to be!!

by Bradley ![]() Key Words Large Variety, Large Portions, Good Flavors Would we go back? Duh, they had a spargel menu! And the other German food was really good, too. Landhaus Müller is an awesome restaurant, after a great day on the Rhine; after visiting 2 different castles and seeing countless others on the drive, we were in search for some good soup. Tim and Stephanie were craving goulashsuppe , Katherine was craving kartoffelsuppe and I wanted spargelsuppe. We found a restaurant that actually had a spargel menu! Spargel, or asparagus, is my favorite vegetable by far! Everyone else likes it too but they make fun of how excited I get for it. We got to Germany just before the spargel season started but this restaurant already had a spargel menu so I went spargel crazy! We all had spargelsuppe which is a cream soup made with white asparagus, Germany doesn't seem to use the green variety. It's so velvety and packed with asparagus flavor...and a lot of cream...yum! It also has whole chunks of spargel and is the perfect appetizer. by Katherine ![]() Key Words Large Variety, Good Flavors Would We Come Back? Oh my god, yes!! Everything we tasted was amazing! I've heard lots of people talk about Founding Farmers; it seemed like one of those restaurants that everyone thinks is "cool" to go to with its sustainability and eco-friendly environment. For some reason, I wasn't impressed by the menu, and I had checked it out several times. But it happened to be close to a doctor's appointment I had in the city, so I made a reservation and decided to check it out with Brad and our friend, Meghan. I went with very low expectations, but I couldn't have had more of a wrong impression. Another glance at the menu made me wonder what the hell I was thinking previously; the menu looked delicious! by Katherine ![]() Key Words Large Variety, Reasonably Priced, Large Portions, Good Flavors Would We Come Back? DUH!! We've already gone back tons of times!! Oh boy! Here it comes, my first post about my obsession with octopus! Delia's is hands down my favorite restaurant in the DC area. It's got a huge variety of menu items, they're reasonably priced, and it just happens to be right down the road from where I work and live! They even had Brad's favorite hard to find beer, Hopslam, a couple of weeks ago. I've been to Delia's countless times, and it never disappoints with its tasty noms, starting with its pita bread. Always fresh out of the oven, it's served with a roasted red pepper dip and a kalamata olive dip, a nice departure from the typical bread and butter.
