So let me start off by saying I really really enjoyed our stay at Eurostars Book Hotel. I did a lot of reasearch for all the hotels we stayed in. Our criteria was generally something modern, clean, reasonably priced, and in a convenient location. The hotel has a cool book theme going on. The lobby had a giant book in it; sounds tacky, but it wasn't. Each room had enscriptions from different literary classics and the back of the mirror had an elegant tree surrounded by the titles of more classics.

The shower alone is reason enough to stay here. It was amazing and probably the main reason why I would return to Munich. There was an overhead giant shower head that felt like rain pouring down all over you. And the handheld shower head had the most perfect water pressure you could ever dream of! It was like a spa and a massage all in only a shower! I took extra showers just because I could, and I'd have slept in there if that was possible!

Price Range: $120-$140 per night (including tax and fees)

Location:
The problem with Munich is that all the reasonably priced hotels are located in not the nicest of neighborhoods. But it's really not worth it too spend hundreds of dollars more when this is a perfectly nice hotel on the inside (even the outside of the hotel is nice and really makes its stand out). On the plus side, it's about a block from the hauptbahnhof (main train station), which has a metro and all the trains traveling to other cities and it's within walking distance to Old Town and Marienplatz (about 15-20 min).

Decor & Cleanliness: The hotel is very modern in the rooms, the lobbies, and the hallways. All very clean as well.

Comfort: We were pleased to get a king bed. A lot of hotels had said double bed when booking, and in Europe you never know if that is gonna mean king bed, double bed, or two twin beds pushed together. Bed was maybe a little too firm, but I got a good night's sleep.

Service: We didn't really need to bother anyone beyond checking in and out. But receptionists in the lobby spoke good English and got you taken care of quickly.

In-Room Features: Wifi (ask for password in lobby), giant-sized towels, no clock, shower gel, lotion, soap bar, shoe shine, shoe horn, sewing kit, travel-size tissues
