4 Large Apples, cored and sliced into 1/4" rings
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
6 oz. Sharp Cheddar, sliced (or enough to cover the apples slices)
- Toss apple rings with spices.
- Heat grill to 425°F.
- Grill apple rings 4-6 min on each side or until slightly charred (visible grill marks).
- Add cheddar slices on half of the apple rings and grill for 1 min more or until cheese melts.
- Remove apple rings and build the sandwiches!
