Would We Come Back?
Definitely, food was really good and there's a lot more we'd love to order.

After looking for manatees, we were ready for some lunch! We walked around in Melbourne looking for a good menu and settled on Island Pasta Company. The menu looked delicious, was reasonable priced, and happened to be run by the same people as River Rocks.

First, I got the Island Crab Chowder, which had tasty chunks of crab and sweet potatoes. The soup was so good and unique that I contemplated ordering another one for dessert. Brad got a bleu cheese and candied walnut salad, which is our favorite kind of salad. This one also had grapes, which I thought was a nice addition.
It was a hard choice deciding what to order as the main course. Being a pasta place, it was oh so tempting to order pasta. But being that I was in Florida, I also wanted all the seafood I could get. So much of the menu looked appetizing, but since I hadn't had any crab cakes, I went with the seafood cakes sandwich. This was more unique because they also had shrimp in them, so the chunks of shrimp added a nice contrasting texture that I really liked. Brad got the mango shrimp, which was something else that I had pondered over. The mango rum sauce was out of this world! Perfect combination! Another awesome meal!
