Would We Come Back?
Possibly, they served very good traditional Spanish tapas, but there are so many other tapas bars to try.

We ended our tapas tour at La Taberna del Cobre, a tapas bar serving very traditional Spanish tapas (at least from what we experienced). I was super excited cuz I finally got some good tortilla, or Spanish omelette. Every place makes their tortilla different. This one was tasty and satisfied my craving...for the time being. We also had sauteed mushrooms, jam packed with flavor. We're both huge fans of mushrooms! I loved the croquettas as always, but Brad learned he just isn't a fan, odd because it's fried meat!

And we got fried shrimp sticks to make a total of four tapas at this place! We both really liked them, especially with the tasty dipping sauce. For some odd reason, many people left their servings on the plates. Not sure if they weren't fans or just full, but Brad and I were quick to devour all the rest. Never will I turn down extra tortilla, mushrooms, croquettas, and shrimp!! We also tried the last main form of sangria: cava sangria. Instead of regular wine, cava (sparkling Spanish wine) is used. I think the fruitiness stands out more in regular sangria or the lemonade sangria, but I was glad I tried the varieties.

We were able to ask our guide any last questions before we split up. She gave us a list of restaurants and tapas bars that she and other locals insisted were quality, non-touristy places. That was super awesome as I'm always trying to eat like the locals when I visit places. Someone else asked for a list of venues where you could go to hear live music and she quickly listed off a few. Overall, a great end to a great tour.
