We planned Frankfurt and the castles in the Rhineland fairly last minute because the Partnach Gorge, our original plan, was temporarily closed due to melting ice. We had opted for a bit nicer hotels for Spain and Munich, so our goal in Frankfurt, and a day later for Stuttgart, was to get something cheap but decent and conveniently located.
Location: Sachsenhausen is a good area for restaurants and bars. The hotel's location was perfect for us because we could walk a couple of blocks back to the hotel after going out for a night of drinking.
Decor & Cleanliness: Tho aged, the hotel was pretty clean. bathroom looked like it was recently renovated.
Comfort: We had two twin beds that were already pushed together, but Tim and Stephanie had a Queen bed. Overall, it was fine. Down comforter was nice.
Service: We didn't really need to bother anyone beyond checking in and out. But receptionist in the lobby spoke good English and got you taken care of quickly.
In-Room Features: Wifi (public, so connection was not always great), gummy bears, soap and shampoo dispensers provided in shower
