by Bradley Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a very small, walled city in Germany. Its quaint, homey feel makes this city welcoming and enchanting; it gives you a feel for German architecture with pointy roof and the wooden facades with crossbeams. ![]() While inside the walls you have the magical, small town sentiments, you still get the medieval sense with the fortified wall and towers. It's known for its pastries, schneeballen, and is home to the most famous Christmas shop in the world, Käthe Wohlfahrt. This unique gem of a city is a treat to walk through, walk on the wall and in go in local shops and bakeries.
