Since Stephanie had previously lived in Stuttgart, she knew the good places to go and wanted to show us around, if only for a short bit. So once we checked out of the hotel, we headed to Schlossplatz. The platz was really nice, large and spread out, it looked like it would be like a nice place to chill for a day in nice weather. By the way, for some reason, it's always sunny and warmer in Stuttgart, a much welcomed delight as opposed to the always cloudy and freezing Bavaria. We walked around for less than an hour, but I liked the feel of Stuttgart. It just seemed like a nice place to hang out. Though it's lacking the historical essence that Bavarian cities often have, it was still an enjoyable looking city. Frankfurt, on the other hand, just seemed like there wasn't much to do at all. We also grabbed gelato from a vendor on the street because we were craving some after two days away from it. Stephanie also says that Stuttgart has good fests, so next time we'd want to visit for one of those.
