Would We Come Back?
Definitely glad I went, but it's a little on the pricey side for tapas.

I'd seen Tapas 24 on the show From Spain with Love on the Cooking Channel. The show did a great job of showcasing restaurants, recipes, and just food in general from Spain so of course while watching I bookmarked some of these places. Brad wasn't feeling the greatest that day, but wanted me to enjoy some food, so I treated myself to this tapas bar.
PictureJamon, Cheese, and Truffle Mini Toasts
The tapas here have traditional elements but with fancy twists. What first caught my eye was truffle...on little sandwiches with jamon and cheese. Right up my alley! They had the perfect crisp, ooey gooey melty cheese, and a prominent but not overbearing flavor of truffle! And the four toasts combined were the size of a full sandwich, not bad but maybe a tad overpriced.

And then there was a tortilla, the Spanish omelette that I always crave! Unfortunately, I really hadn't had many while in Spain due to my desire to try new things. But each restaurant's tortilla is its own creation, so trying many is a good thing to do. The one here was delicious!! And loaded with more jamon!!! The tortilla was moist with a good egg to potato ratio, good since I tend to like my tortillas on the runnier side. I also ordered a glass of wine and it was definitely on the pricier side of wine in Spain, close to 4€. Overall very tasty food!
