We hiked from Manarola up to Groppo and stoped at a winery and then went on to Volastra and then back down to Corniglia. Along the way from Groppo to Volastra there was an overlook that convinced me that Cinque Terre was the most beautiful place I'd ever been. We took some pictures that you can see below but they just don't do it justice! The trail on the popular Sentiero Azzurro from Manarola to Corniglia was closed, but this hike might be even better!
The pictures below show the view I was talking about, the vineyards terraced on the hillsides and the water and the little towns look so gorgeous in person! The whole hike really was one of my favorites, it offered a different vantage point rather than hiking straight across between towns. It was a little more tough though, the first half was all uphill and the second half was all downhill but I'd definitely do it again just for that one view!
