Would We Come Back?
Sure, even if it's just for the fried baby squid!

I've been to the Amalfi Coast before, in 2011 with my Dad, brother and sister. One of our favorite places that we went to was Zi'Ntonio Mare. I actually couldn't remember what the name of the restaurant was and looked back at a picture we had taken. Well the name I got from that picture was actually not the correct restaurant, it was for the one behind it, but either way we ended up going back!

This restaurant is cool because it's on a dock on the water and you can eat outside on the dock. Our favorite part of the 2011 trip was the fried baby squid, my family and I talk about it often...because of this I just had to have Katherine try it! It was just as good as the last time, lightly fried and the squid was perfectly tender, which is impressive because being that they are so small they would be very easy to overcook.

Katherine ordered a Paccheri (looks like a hybrid of rigatoni and cannelloni) with fish. Were not sure what fish it was but there were several large chunks and you don't often find fish pastas, mostly shellfish. The fish was cooked well and soaked up the seafood sauce.

It's not a big surprise that I decided to get a seafood pasta again. There was a lot of seafood and even some that I didn't recognize. The red one in the picture below is some kind of clam I had never had before but it was tasty, a little on the tough side though. But all the rest of the seafood was cooked very well and the sauce was extremely flavorful.

I'd eat that Squid like it was popcorn!
